Cooperative Fair

Cooperative fairs are organized every year at national, divisional, district and upazila level across the country on the initiative of the Department of Cooperatives with the aim of introducing the products of the cooperative societies / cooperatives of the country and creating markets. Cooperative fairs are usually organized in conjunction with the celebration of National Cooperative Day. The main purpose of organizing the fair is to promote and disseminate these products produced / cultivated by the cooperatives. The fair items are sold at a fair price and at the right weight as well as formalin and non-toxic on the one hand.

These products include: Nakshikantha, Chander, Three Piece, Dining Set, Block Three Piece, Handmade Sarees, Jute Bags, Jute Bags, Clothing, Fatwa, Leather Products, Wooden Furniture & Jewelry, Handicrafts, Bamboo Vase, Pots , Putty bags, electrical appliances, dairy products, honey, fish, ducks, chickens, eggs, cows, goats, vegetables, etc.

Cooperative fairs last from 1 to 7 days. Although co-operative fairs are organized to display / sell the products of co-operative societies / co-operatives, it becomes a gathering place for co-operatives and common people. The last co-operative fair was held on Saturday, November 1, 2014.
